We have finalised
our special access tours to Stonehenge in 2010 with our partners Mad Max Tours based in Bath. Mad Max are the only company offering scheduled special access tours from Bath in 2010.
You will be picked up from Bath City centre and make your way to the circle
via
Salisbury Plain. Journey time approx 1 hour.
Our
special access tours will show you more than just Stonehenge. You will learn how older monuments may have
influenced its development.
The inner circle tours take place in
the morning or evening, when the stones are closed to the
public.The itinerary iincludes;
Hearing about the exciting
archaeological discoveries made by the Stonehenge
Riverside Project during the last few years.
Seeing the
Cursus and barrows close up,
Taking a walk along the Avenue and getting one of
the most interesting views of the stones
Special access tour
around the centre of the stone circle while it is closed
to the public.
The cost for the
following Stonehenge Special Access Tour is just £60 per person and this
includes transport from Bath City Centre and
entrance to the stones with full guided tour.
