Salisbury is well served by restaurants and pubs to suit every taste and pocket. We are happy to recommend what we consider to be the best - the ones locals choose. Our recommendations do vary over time as owners or chefs change. We regularly test them to ensure good quality and excellent value.

We do not receive any commission or have links with any establishments and will only recommend those we would eat in ourselves. During the weekend of 19th-21st September 2008we will be holding a food themed weekend to tie in with the annual Food Festival here in Salisbury. Staying at the White Hart Hotel on a Dinner & BB basis, on Saturday we will visit 5 local producers;

• cheese maker
• smokehouse
• pork and sausage farmer
• shepherd on Stonehenge down
• winery

In the evening we will have a meal specially prepared by the Head Chef of the White Hart using ingredients from the producers we met during the day.
