Hotels & B&Bs in Salisbury - brief description

White Hart Hotel. Former coaching inn. Close to the city centre. Good restaurant. We have a special Dinner B&B rate of £75 pppn. For details please contact us with your dates.

Red Lion Hotel.Typical old coaching inn, in central Salisbury. Beautiful hotel that is close to all the sights.

Milford Hall Classic Hotel. About a 4 minute walk from the Market Square, the service is second-to-none. Has many ground floor rooms and, being set back from the road, is quieter than most.

Cathedral Hotel. Not a hotel in the conventional sense, but more rooms above a pub. Recently refurbished. Lift to all floors - a rarity in Salisbury.

Rose & Crown Hotel. Just across the bridge from the Cathedral with lovely river views.

Lazy Cow. Formerly known as the Kings Head Arms. Opposite the Cathedral. It has some beautiful period rooms with low beamed ceilings. Huge amount of history attached to the building.

Grasmere House Hotel. Just across the bridge from the Cathedral with probably the best views of the Cathedral from any hotel. Situated on the banks of the rivers Avon and Nadder with picturesque gardens.

The Old Mill Hotel. As its name suggests a charming converted old mill in an idyllic location. At least a 10 min walk across the meadows from the centre, but you will get the views that John Constable painted on the way.

Cricket Field House Hotel. Lovely family run small hotel on the outskirts of the city. Bit of a walk into the centre, but a great place.

Byways House Very popular with only a very short walk to the city centre. Has larger rooms sleeping upto 4 people.

City Lodge. New and right in the centre of the City. One of the cheapest hotels you will find, but still good quality. It is room only and it doesn't provide any meals. For an early breakfast come out of the Lodge turn right, at the end of the street turn right and then left at the lights. About 50 metres along on the left is the Kings Head.

New Inn.Superb place with great food. Right in the city centre.

Victoria Lodge, Parklane and Rokeby guest houses. All three are B&Bs outside of the ring road. A bit of a walk into the centre accross a busy road through underpasses.

Qudos. Rooms above a pub. Very close to city centre.

St Ann's House. Boutique style B&B close to city centre.

Cathedral View. A B&B in a great location opposite the Cathedral, but doesn't take credit cards.Very highly rated on Trip Advisor. To book direct contact www.cathedral-viewbandb.co.uk
